Hi,
Here 's my last (and second) resin kit I mount. It's a giperjet kit, made by one hobby talk american member : Alfaslot/greg. I added a Road race replica wheels kit, and CandR decals. (the driver on the picture was abandonned, since it can't fit in the tight body) :

I modified the chassis to make a good fit for the body :

I painted it with spray can. I painted the windows in dark silver from the inside (I like the effect under light, very realistic) and I'm quite happy with the fake light bulbs effect I made.

Now, I have to tune and prepare the chassis (I'll certainly add a brass pan, cause it's old school, eficient and good looking), make the body posts, and mount new tires (sanded tuffone silicones). I'll post the final result soon.

' /> h0 scale is the richest slot racing scale in my opinion : a lot of very different chassis to drive, plenty of modelling possibilities too. The only issue, maybe, is the difficulty to find european racing cars (modern or classic), and good looking wheels. But, searching hard, we find jewels like this kits, RRR wheels, great CandR decals, etc...

today I glued the mouting posts, and modified a brass pan to fit the car nicely :

the car is alive, and made its first laps.

So, technicaly, it's a stock JL car, with polished gears and brushes, the only after market parts are a brass pan and a long guide pin.

' /> Tommorow evening, I'll make last little things (finely balancing the mounting posts for example), but the car is finished and ready to race !
The next tjet I'll do : Corvette GS ! and as soon as I'll receive the new greg's bodies I ordered, I'll make 2 other cars.
